The Cochrane & District Horticultural Society was founded in April 2005 by local gardeners unified by their love of gardening. We serve Cochrane and surrounding district with varied activities focused on education and sharing gardening expertise & experience in Hardiness Zones 3a and 3b with Chinook conditions!

On October 16th we presented Laurel Griffin of Spirit Winds Ranch with a cheque for $880 from funds raised at our Fall Plant Sale fundraiser!! Laurel and her crew explained and demonstrated how the Equine Assisted Learning Program can assist young and old alike!
To date, our biannual plant sales have raised over $10,000 for a variety of Cochrane organizations!!! Thank you Cochrane!!!
Meeting the Chinook Challenge
WHEN: The fourth Thursday of each month from Sep. - Oct. & Jan - Apr. at 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Meetings will be held at our new location - The Cochrane Alliance Church, 902 Glenbow Dr.
COST: Regular meetings are included in your membership
$10 admission for non-members per meeting
