2023 Lemonade in the Garden Flash Visits Thank you to all our members who shared their gardens with us!
Friday, June 30th - Rose Palen - At Rose's Glenbow home, members were able to enjoy her beautiful Mock Orange tree and vividly coloured Martagon Lily. Rose's use of large self-watering tubs for her Tomatoes is a great feature of her backyard greenhouse.
Tuesday, July 25th - Lynda Sweet - Lynda's Sunset yard showcased an amazing array of colourful Lilies, beautifully textured Heliopsis as well as many other annuals and perennials. Her backyard is a bird watcher's paradise with feeders and birdbaths to entice her feathered friends.
Monday, July 31st - Faye Boychuck - Faye's Gleneagles backyard oasis also included a variety of Lilies in full bloom, as well as lovely mature trees and a raised vegetable bed. The staging of her yard clearly reflects an artist's eye and the hummingbirds agree!
Tuesday, August 8th - Shannon Want - Shannon's rural property included mature trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials, plus some functional and fun rock art! It was fun to see the many antiques incorporated into her flower beds and her "ghost" pumpkin was a unique feature in her greenhouse.
Tuesday, August 15th - Blanche Richards - The weather was perfect for our visit to Blanche's riverfront garden which showcased lilies, self seeded snapdragons and a 'wall' of sweetpeas!
Thursday, August 17th - Paola Dottor-Cena and Little Daisy Florals - Paola's raised veggie and perennial beds were at their best with a wide array of color and variety. Her tomato selection was amazing! Little Daisy Florals did not disappoint - it was amazing to see and hear how they have started and grown the 'farm' part of their business in such a short period of time!
