Field Trips 2017

Our field trips have included visits to botanical gardens, arboretums, farms, garden centres, and even colleges (Olds College). Participants meet at the Heritage Garden parking lot to coordinate car pooling.

Field Trips for 2017:

Rundle Wood Gardens - May 13th

www.rundlewoodgardens.ab.ca. What a visit we had graciously hosted by Rod Shaver. For those members unable to attend on the 13th, check out the website and plan your own visit. Rod is a passionate gardener with a beautiful selection of alpine plants to sell.

The Saskatoon Farm in Dewinton - Thursday, July 27

The weather for this trip was right in the middle of our summer heat wave, so we had to be tough to pick saskatoons in the blistering sunshine, but we had a good time nevertheless, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch.
